Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear.As Assistant Commercial Manager, you will provide exceptional commercial advice to the operational leads to drive revenues, improve forecasted profit margins and be responsible for implementation of commercial risk management through project review procedures and contract negotiations.Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.Manage and oversee the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.Monitor and manage project risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Prepare and present commercial reports and proposals to senior management.Provide pre and post commercial advice / support to the operational teams.Monitor and manage project risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Be influential in the maximisation of profit marginsLiaise with operational and finance colleagues to ensure that work in progress and debt levels are managedReview and interrogate Cost Value Reconciliations / Contract Reviews.
