Job description
Fantastic Early Years term time only position, working shifts between 8.30am - 5 : 30pm during week days. Joining the team in a small and friendly preschool based with children age 2 - 5 years based in Swarland village, commutable just off the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick.
The ideal candidate will bring their warmth and kindness to the setting. They will communicate well with children, parents and colleagues and share a positive, professional approach to caring for children at the preschool. They will be enthusiastic and creative, and keen to share ideas and follow children's interests to provide an exciting and enriching learning environment, helping children to reach their individual milestones and learn though play
The setting are looking for a qualified practitioner, who holds a full and relevant childcare qualification. Pay is negotiable and dependant on your previous experience working within early years and level of qualification. They would be interested to hear from both those qualified at level 2 and working towards a level 3 early years educator qualification as well as those who hold an existing Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (such as EYP, EYT or QTS primary)
The role is to start as soon as possible for the right candidate, but they may consider a later start date if required due to notice periods. There could also be opportunity to pick up extra hours for those interested in the setting's holiday club around the usual opening hours and half terms.
