We are currently seeking a Process Controller to join our Chilterns area operations team.This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and sociable team of professionals committed to delivering the production of millions of litres of water for customers across Berkshire & Buckinghamshire.The working hours for this role are 07 : 30 – 15 : 36, Monday-Friday.Location – Bourne End WTW SN8 5NT however you will cover the whole Chilterns area and drive between several different sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.This is a full-time permanent position.What will you be doing as a Process ControllerThe successful candidate will be a key member of the area operations team and will deliver a high standard of work at our Water Treatment Works and Reservoirs. The role of Process Technician reports to the Production Manager along with other Process Technicians.Completion of scheduled planned work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.Responding to reactive work to maintain our operational output and the supply of clean water to our customers within the Chilterns area.Supporting internal and external stakeholders with large-scale planned work at our sitesAs required, support the training of apprentices within the area.Promote a safe working environment through your actions and behaviours.Out-of-hours stand-by work on a rotational basis.The successful candidate will learn how to operate and optimise all processes and equipment in water treatment works to ensure water quality, compliance, safety and operational efficiency.What should you bring to the role?The ability to demonstrate logical thinking, attention to detail, and workload management is a must.Excellent communication skills.Due to the nature of the role, a FULL UK driving licence is essential.Health and safety knowledge.Ability to make decisions about our sites, sometimes under pressure.Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships quicklyThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Competent with IT systems.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build reports.A license to Operate Water Production or equivalent qualification preferred, however, not essential.Physically fit, as you may have to work in confined spaces, on successful completion of the appropriate training.What’s in it for you!?Offering a salary up to £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.Company van and a fuel card (company use only), PPE and tools are provided.Training around all aspects of the production and operation of our sites will be provided.GymPass is a free fitness plan and access to several well-being apps for you and up to three family members, as well as discounted plans nationwide.Cycle to work scheme, always on and up to £3,000, save money, get fit and help protect the environment.WeCare, a variety of health and well-being services for you and your family including up to 10 specialist counselling sessions, 24 / 7 access to a virtual GP, get-fit programmes and access to a nutritionist.Benefits on Tap, access to discounts, cashback and instant vouchers.Generous Paternity Leave, including 4 weeks paid and an optional 2 weeks unpaid.Enhanced Maternity Leave, 26 weeks full pay and 13 weeks half pay.Ongoing performance development reviews to help you be your best and identify growth opportunities.24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 with the length of service.
