Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? Do you have the dedication, patience, and skills to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing primary school environment?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the M24 area looking for a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and friendly team this Summer Term 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting children with a range of needs to reach their full potential.
About the Role :
Provide 1 : 1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, under the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers
Adapt and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Assist with personal care and physical needs when required
Support children’s social, emotional, and mental health development
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure high-quality provision
What We’re Looking For :
A relevant Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
Proven experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
Strong knowledge of a range of special educational needs, such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A calm, compassionate, and flexible approach
A genuine passion for helping children succeed
