• Lead the Site Team - Ensure the site runs smoothly and safely
• Maximise Commercial Performance - Driving the financial success of the project, staying on track and budget
• Work closely with Procurement - You’ll work with the team to make sure the site has everything it needs – from materials to manpower
• Manage Forecasting and Changes - You’ll keep everyone updated on project forecasts and any changes, managing scope carefully and planning for unexpected work
• Identify Opportunities and Risks - You’ll report risks and opportunities to senior management, helping the team make informed decisions
• Standards - You'll ensure the work is completed to the highest quality standards, with no defects, and that all plans and processes are followedABOUT YOU
• Experience in tunnelling and shaft projects, Ideally, worked in highly high-regulated environments and have experience with TBM
• A strong understanding of civil engineering would be a big plus, but your tunnelling expertise is key
• You’ll be comfortable working with NEC contracts and have experience managing changes and contracts
• You’ll be skilled at managing risks, designing solutions, and keeping projects on track
• Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and an SMSTS qualification
• You’ll know how to challenge designs and find solutions to keep the project moving forward
• Able to manage projects with minimal supervision and take ownership of your work.SALARY AND BENEFITS
• Depending upon your experience but in the range of £60,000 - £75,000
• Car Allowance
• 31 days holiday (inc BH)
• Discretional company bonus
• Death in Service 4 x salary
