Have you recently completed a degree and considering your school-based career? Are you available to work in the Wirral area? If so Tradewind Recruitment may have the job for you!

Tradewind are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic graduates who are looking to utilise their skills within a secondary school setting. We are currently recruiting for graduates to work in our schools on the Wirral area in the roles of Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor.

The roles of Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervisor in secondary schools can provide you with great flexibility. You can work around your schedule if you're still currently in university, work on a long-term basis if you're looking for regular work or complete daily, short-term assignments, if you're looking to broaden your experience to as many schools as possible.

To join us and be considered for this Graduate position on the Wirral you must :

Be based in or around Wirral and be able to commute to schools with sometimes 1 hours' notice (for 8 : 30 arrivals)
Have experience working with children aged 11-16 or be prepared to attend one of our in house training courses
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Hold a full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure.

In house CPD :

If you have limited experience working with children and would be interested in the role we would definitely encourage you to apply. Tradewind are delighted to partner with The National College, providing over 20,000 accredited courses to our candidates.

For candidates with limited experience but a genuine interest in working with children we are pleasd to offer : An Introduction to working as a Teaching Assistant & Working as a Cover Supervisor as part of our CPD offering. These 2 on-site courses will provide you with an insight into the roles and develop your confidence so that you can excel in both positions and will allow you to converse with other education professionals about to embark on the same journey.
