Seasonal Park Ranger – Watford 🌳Rate : £14 per hourHours : 40 hours per week (rotating shifts)Start Date : ASAPAre you passionate about the outdoors and making a positive difference in your local community? We are currently seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to join a dynamic Ranger Service in Watford this summer.About the Role : As a Seasonal Park Ranger, you will play a key part in maintaining a welcoming, safe, and clean environment across Watford’s parks and open spaces. This is a highly visible, public-facing role where no two days are the same — from patrolling green spaces and engaging with the public, to responding to incidents and supporting community events. Applicants must have a UK Driving licenceKey Responsibilities :

• Patrolling parks, play areas, allotments, cemeteries, and open spaces
• Providing a visible presence and engaging positively with park users
• Deterring and addressing anti-social behaviour
• Responding to reports of vandalism, rough sleeping, littering, and dog fouling
• Locking / unlocking park facilities and key holding duties
• Supporting public events, youth engagement activities, and community initiatives
• Liaising with partner agencies including the police and community groups
• Reporting issues such as fly-tipping, graffiti, and damaged equipment
• Conducting safety checks and carrying out minor repairs and maintenanceShift Pattern :
• 11 : 30 AM – 8 : 00 PM daily (includes one 30-minute unpaid break)
• Includes weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis
• Flexibility is essential to support cover during staff absencesWhat We’re Looking For :
