Delivery Manager - Software implementation | 6-12 month Contract | SaaS

A specialist construction cost engineering practice with expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure is seeking a seasoned Delivery manager to join the company on a consultancy basis.

You will lead and manage complex technology-enabled business transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget, scope, and timeline. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with experience in cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and application development.

Key Responsibilities / Duties :

Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects / programs, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including technical, development, and business stakeholders.
Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project governance and standards.
Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, providing regular updates on project progress.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Proven experience in program and project delivery management, particularly in technology-focused environments.

Extensive experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and data center migrations.

Strong understanding of infrastructure modernization and application development.

Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines and budgets.

Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and deliver positive outcomes.

Experience with financial management and cost control.

Desired Skills and Qualifications (Optional) :

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Experience with specific project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
