Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Service Manager based in Suffolk….Hamptons are proud to be working with a well-established organisation that provide a variety of services, including short breaks and respite services. They specialise in supporting individuals with learning difficulties and autism and have over 20 years’ experience doing so.They are looking to invite a Service Manager into their team on a 6-month contract basis to support and work alongside the current RM and carry out the following duties…Role Overview :

• Support management and work alongside HR to mentor them in terms of man management for their team, with view to resolve any internal issues within the service.
• Act as a leading example for the culture of the service and implement positive change and processes.
• To deliver services across the respective service line and monitor service quality.
• To undertake specific management and supervisory responsibilities across the locality / service.
• Conduct appraisals and staff development and training meetings / sessions.
• To act as a link between the Director of Operations and staff in terms of communications.About you :
• Seniorlevel management experience and proven decision-making and results delivery.
• Knowledge of HR, health and safety, and social care legislation.
• Effective communication skills, including presentation and report writing.
• Experience with operational duties within a social care environment such as budget management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working within an adult’s social care environment, specifically with learning disabilities.
• Must have RQF Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent and leadership experience or formal leadership qualification.
