Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out)Location : Bristol (East), BS15Salary : £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Work Location : Office and site-based (within Bristol and surrounding areas)Full time / PermanentRemarkable Jobs are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading commercial fit-out contractor.This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded QS with experience in fast-paced interiors and fit-out projects to join a growing team based in Bristol (East).Quantity Surveyor Role : As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the financial and contractual management of high-quality commercial fit-outs across the UK. You'll work closely with project and site teams from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and agreement of tenders and variations.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial performance.
- Monitor and report on project budgets, costs, and cash flow.
- Undertake site visits for valuations, progress checks, and client meetings.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and risk management processes.
- Support the project team in delivering fit-outs to time, quality, and budget.What They Are Looking For : Essential :
- 2-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the commercial fit-out sector.
- Strong understanding of JCT contract forms.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.Quantity Surveyor Key Attributes :
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Organised and self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience working on hotel or student accommodation projects is advantageous, or any Fit-Out commercial!Sponsorship is not available for this position.
