Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Specialist Practitioner (Band 6)Location : Kingston & RichmondReports to : Team Lead / Clinical LeadJob Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Kingston. The successful candidate will provide high-quality assessment, intervention, and support for children with a range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs. This role is integral in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for children and their families.Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s occupational performance and participation.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices, including sensory integration and fine motor skill development.
- Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
