Maths Teacher Position : Maths Teacher Location : Stratford, London Start Date : September 2024 Pay : Pay to scale Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent Are you passionate about mathematics and dedicated to inspiring young minds? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Stratford. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality education and helping every student achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities : - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students across all year groups (Years 7-13). - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics. - Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support. - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, ensuring a cohesive and progressive curriculum. - Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities. - Maintain high standards of classroom management and student discipline in line with school policies. Requirements : - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. - A degree in Mathematics or a related field. - Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, including familiarity with the UK National Curriculum. - Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, parents, and students. - A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
