A great opportunity to join a specialist food manufacturer, as the Senior Category & Insight Manager, to develop a Category function from scratch and grow the team.
This food business have an exceptional reputation with their customers across Retail channels and OOH / Foodservice partners. They are loved by Chefs and culinary teams as well as the consumers buying the brands in supermarket aisles.
Due to their ambitious plans for develop the brand and retail strategy they are looking to grow their marketing team with a new role of Senior Category & Insight Manager. This role will essentially start a dedicated Category function, work with the Senior leadership and colleagues to lead and influence cross-functional projects with the objective of unlocking growth for the brands, categories and retail partners.
This role will require gravitas to present to group board to deliver the data and insight and champion the category for growth and investment.
To be successful in the role you will
- Have Insight, research, and consumer experience within blue chip FMCG business.
- Category Management ideally within a food brand
- A desire to lead and grow a function in a business
- Essential is experience with market data (Nielsen or IRI), Household panel (Kantar WorldPanel, Nielsen, GfK), Shopper data (Dunnhumby, Nectar etc)
The business is based in Greater London but happy to consider hybrid working with one to two days office based.
