UNQUALIFIED Learning Support Assistant – Pentre £89.38 per day Monday – Friday (Full-time & Part-time roles available) ⏰ 8 : 30am – 3 : 30pm | No weekends!Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We're thrilled to be working in partnership with a Special Educational Needs School in the Pentre area that's currently seeking both full-time and part-time Learning Support Assistants to join their team.About the School : The school provides education and support for pupils aged 3 to 19 years with a variety of Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Their focus is on creating an inclusive, child-centred environment where every pupil is empowered to reach their full potential.With small class sizes (no more than 10 pupils per class) and generous staffing levels, each class is led by a qualified teacher and a team of dedicated Learning Support Assistants. The school’s mission is to promote confidence, independence, and a love of learning through rich, tailored experiences and a supportive setting.The Role : As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in both the personal and educational development of the pupils. You’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to support learners in class and in practical / sensory-based sessions. Each pupil follows a personalised development plan that you will use to guide your support strategies.You’ll be a positive, nurturing presence in the school and help create strong relationships that foster trust and engagement with education.
