Job Advertisement : Teaching Assistants for SEND Support (Full-Time, Long-Term) Position : Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) Location : Liverpool Start Date : September 2024 Contract : Full-Time, Long-Term Axcis are seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a primary school in September 2024. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEND, helping them to achieve their full potential and thrive within the school community. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities :

• Provide individualised support to students with SEND, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
• Work closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of students with SEND.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and the SENDCo.
• Support students with personal care needs, if required.
• Promote social integration and positive behaviour among students. Qualifications and Experience :
• Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
• Understanding of SEND and experience in supporting students with diverse needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential INDLIV
