Axcis Education RecruitmentLiverpoolJob Advertisement : Teaching Assistants for SEND Support (Full-Time, Long-Term) Position : Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) Location : Liverpool Start Date : September 2024 Contract : Full-Time, Long-Term Axcis are seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a primary school in September 2024. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEND, helping them to achieve their full potential and thrive within the school community. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide individualised support to students with SEND, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and the SENDCo.
- Support students with personal care needs, if required.
- Promote social integration and positive behaviour among students. Qualifications and Experience :
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of SEND and experience in supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential INDLIV
