Job Title : SEN Teaching AssistantLocation : DerbyStart Date : ASAPPay Scale : £13.08 - £14.62 per hourContract Type : Full-time, Part-time, Day-to-Day, Long-termThe Role : Education World is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Derby. This role involves working with children across a range of age groups who have additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and feel included within the classroom environment.What We’re Looking For : Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties.A patient and empathetic approach to learning support.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff.A proactive mindset and willingness to adapt to pupils’ changing needs.Key Responsibilities : Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.Assisting with the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.Supporting the social and emotional development of children with additional needs.Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies and monitor progress.What Education World Offers : Weekly pay via PAYE – no umbrella deductions.Access to relevant CPD and SEN-specific training.Flexible working opportunities with potential for long-term placements.Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.How to Apply : If you're passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, we’d love to hear from you!
