Your new company Hays Education are working with a primary school in Litherland that is looking for a 1 : 1 teaching assistant to start with them in a long-term role. This role will start as soon as possible.Your new role This role involves working 1 : 1 with a pupil in year 2 that has ASD and has previous trauma. For the right candidate, this will be a long-term role. It will be 08 : 30-15 : 30 and full-time. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will need a DBS on the update service or documents to apply for one as well as : Previous experience working as a teaching assistant / with children (references needed)Experience working with children with ASD / Autism Ability to recognise triggers and find solutions Knowledge of safeguarding Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)What you'll get in return You will join the most recognised recruitment agency in the UK where you will be paid as per the main or upper pay scale.
