We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with previous experience of working within SEN. Ideally, the successful candidate will be an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has the flexibility to work with young people who have a variety of special educational needs. The role involves supporting students in the classroom giving attention to their physical as well as educational requirements.
The Academy specialise in meeting the needs of students aged 11 to 19 who have a full range of learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as other physical and special needs including autism.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of Teaching Assistant, you will :
- Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Have good communication skills.
