Are you a resilient and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real difference? Smile Education is recruiting a primary trained teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Lichfield, supporting children who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. About the Role : Full-time teaching role role, working predominenetly in Key Stage 2Supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and challenging behavior.Leading the class teacher to help move learning forward and create a positive learning environment.Working in an all-age alternative provision, requiring flexibility and adaptability.What We’re Looking For : Experience as a Primary Teacher with alternative provisions knowledge / experience is essential.Must hold QTSRecent UK-based experience and confidence in handling SEMH needs and challenging behavior.Someone who is reliable, resilient, and confident in supporting vulnerable children.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one through Smile Education.If you’re passionate about working with children in an alternative education setting and can commit full-time, we’d love to hear from you!
