What’s the role?

The Leyland Facility is where the Chicago Town Pizzas started over years ago. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our state-of-the-art production facility and play a key role working alongside our teams who are proudly making the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas.

• An environment where you will be an integral member of the Quality Team, being responsible for all aspects of Product compliance – from concept to launch, where good communication and teamwork with all stakeholders is paramount.
• The opportunity to support with the organisation and delivery of key strategic projects.
• A role where you will provide guidance and expertise on regulatory compliance for product labelling and claims whilst ensuring accurate and up to date information is provided to internal and external customers.
• Responsibility for preparing artwork information that ensures consumer trust and brand integrity.

Who we are looking for?

At Dr. Oetker we believe that our employees play a key role in our success. To help shape our future you must have a thorough understanding of current food legislation and emerging developments in this area.

A confident communicator with a personable and professional manner, you will have the ability to interact and relate to all levels of colleagues and to build strong trusted working relationships both internally and externally. You will be able to interpret and communicate effectively the impacts of any likely changes / developments to legislation in the UK and EU.

You will strive to remain well informed and up to date on all relevant legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines, news and events and trends within the food industry.

The ability to work within a fast paced environment is key, along with an ability to work (and stay calm) under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst demonstrating you have an excellent eye for detail.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience within food legislation in a FMCG environment, with a background in specifications and artwork approval.
