Connex Education has partnered with Leeds City Council to assist children who are unable to attend school. We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher / Tutor to provide home-based education and support for students’ academic, mental, and emotional development. Our students often have complex learning requirements, so experience with ASD / ASC, SEMH, Dyslexia / Dyspraxia, and trauma would be highly beneficial.

Position Details :

• Provide individualized tutoring to students who are disengaged from education or facing academic challenges.
• Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing their self-esteem, subject comprehension, and overall academic success.
• Commitment of at least 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions in the student’s home, with a parent or carer present.
• Opportunity to take on additional students if desired.
• Travel expenses covered for assignments under 3 hours per day.
• Competitive hourly rate of £30 – £35 + PPA time
