An ambitious Trainee BIM CAD Technician is needed to join a growing company; an established organisation which specialises in the production of fully engineered and co-ordinated building services models which satisfy the latest BIM requirements.Must be keen to learn as this is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee CAD technician to join an established organisation as part of a growing team with a combined experience of over 60 years in building services projects.

• Based in Leatherhead
• 24,400 – £27,000 (depending on experience)
• Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours
• 20 days holiday increasing annually to a maximum of 25
• Company contribution pension 4%Job specification :
• Working under a senior co-ordinator engineer.
• Work in 2D surface modelling.
• Preparing end sheets for installation drawings.
• Modifying schematics and electrical layout drawings.
• This role will progress to producing drawings in 3D solid modelling.Person specification :
• IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD.
• A sound knowledge of engineering principals.
• An understanding of construction methods.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
