The clientBrightwork is delighted to be supporting our client, a household name with an outstanding reputation for providing the highest standard and quality of premium products to a global market.The role – Project Engineering ManagerThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead, develop and manage a high performing multi-disciplinary team of Project Engineering professionals and ensure that companywide projects are effectively delivered meeting all targets in relation to quality, cost and delivery. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of capital investment projects, programme and project management and providing expert engineering and technical support companywide spanning all engineering disciplines including civil, mechanical, electrical engineering.You will have a broad and varied range of duties and responsibilities including;Lead and manage the Project Engineering team to ensure all company, client and regulatory targets are achieved in relation to companywide CAPE projectsOverarching responsibility for all simultaneously running projects from initial concept through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and final handover across the organisation's diverse business operations.Undertake, manage and control a broad range of simultaneously running multi-disciplinary projects from initial concept through all development stages to completion and provide post completion technical supportEnsure all project works and associated equipment and plant installations comply with statutory legislation and industry best practices, including robust change management processes and HAZOP analysis.Ensure all works meet the requirements of the annual capital investment plan in relation to quality, cost and deliveryWork with all internal and external stakeholder groups to identify, implement and control projects ensuring the highest quality and standards of throughput are continually maintainedMinimum Degree, ideally Masters, qualified within Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, you will have a wealth of experience leading and managing multiple simultaneously running high value CAPEX projects whilst leading, managing and developing a Project Engineering Team / function. You will be able to demonstrate proven success in leading and managing a broad range and value of projects from initial concept through all design and development stages through installation to commissioning and post commissioning operation including all budgetary control. You will have a first-class technical knowledge with an ability to ensure all non-technical stakeholders fully comprehend work activities and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.You will have first-class managerial experience and be well versed in effectively leading and managing a high – performing multi-disciplinary project team. You will be highly proficient in operational use of Project control software (MS Project) with an ability to utilise AutoCAD in relation to plant and equipment drawings and documentation. Experience in process industries with practical knowledge of DSEAR regulations, ATEX equipment, hazardous areas, steam systems, water treatment, compressed air systems, pumps, rotating equipment, and process pipework is essential.
