Salary : Up to £15.20 per hour (within the top 10% of nurseries in the area)

Our passionate team makes a real difference in young lives every day, and we’re looking for an Early Years Educator to join us on this exciting journey!
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to work as part of the leadership team at Muddy Boots in Acomb. The role is starting in the next 4-6 weeks and we anticipate it lasting up to 12 months with the opportunity to move within the Muddy Boots group of nurseries following this fixed-term contract. About the Role
Role Overview :
As a Deputy Manager at Muddy Boots, you will be an integral part of our management team, responsible for delivering high-quality, nature-based learning experiences. We believe that outdoor adventures are at the heart of childhood development, and we are committed to fostering a fun, supportive, and enriching environment for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Support staff to plan and deliver engaging learning activities, with a focus on outdoor play and exploration
Observe, assess, and support children’s individual learning journeys
Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
Ensure a safe, inspiring, and stimulating environment for all children
Contribute to a happy, healthy, and thriving team that loves what they do!
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What We’re Looking For :
- Passion for outdoor education and a commitment to nature-based learning
- Experience in early years education ( Level 3 qualified or equivalent )
- A proactive and positive attitude with great teamwork skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
