Role Highlights : Position : Electrical TechnicianLocation : Kirkbymoorside, North YorkshireContract Type : Permanent, full-timeHours : 37 hours per week on a 4-day shift patternWeek 1 : Monday to Thursday, 7 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm (4th day until 4.30 pm)Week 2 : Tuesday to Friday, 7 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm (4th day until 4 : 30 pm)Benefits : Comprehensive package, including private healthcare, 5% pension, and life insurance at twice the base salaryKey Responsibilities : Assemble electronic and electrical subassemblies following schematic diagrams, engineering drawings, and work order instructionsCarry out heavy duty cable wiring, deck cable assembly and control system fittingWire and solder assemblies, including wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), surface-mount technology (SMT) components, transformer assemblies, control consoles and connectors.Perform troubleshooting and testing to ensure assemblies meet quality standards.Maintain build times for assemblies to achieve the department’s 100% efficiency target.Adhere to safe working practices at all times and ensure all assembly tasks meet department quality standardsEnsure all assembly documents completed What We’re Looking For : Previously worked in a similar environment. with a good understanding of electrical / electronic systems Experience of low voltage AC / DC panel wiring or looming, high voltage installations, Control / Data systems and Fibre Optic handling / termination Have a good awareness of Schedule / Quality and Safety AwarenessWork accurately from drawings Be a strong team player Ideally ONC in electrical / electronic or IEEE 18th edition What’s on Offer : A competitive benefits package with 26.5 days of holiday (pro rata'd in line with 4 day shift pattern)A rewarding shift pattern with long weekends every week.Private healthcare and an enhanced  5% pension plan.Life insurance at twice the base salary.If you’re an experienced Electrical Technician or ready to bring your skills to a forward-thinking team in North Yorkshire, apply today and take the next step in your career journey.
