ResponsibilitiesCo-ordinate the reduction of our carbon impact through environmentally considerate operations, ensuring compliance and promoting initiatives across our business activities. Adherence to ISO 14001 UK Environmental Standards Compliance. (and other relevant Standards)Serve as the subject matter expert, being the accountable and responsible safety person, advising the organisation on how to be compliant with the relevant regulations, enforcing preventative measures. Co-ordination of activities within our subsidiary offices and EU warehouse facility.Undertake site safety tours, inspections, engagement forums and audits on a regular basis, ensuring adherence to the relevant health & safety legislation.Conduct regular checks for : fire alarm testing and evacuation procedures, emergency lighting, fire extinguisher and fire exit doors, legionella water temperature.Conduct Health Safety and Environment inductions for new joiners and contractors and participate in the identification of H&S training needs analysis throughout the organisation.Provide safety management advice, monitoring and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace.Support the review of contractor RAMS and Risk Assessment statements, and take responsibility for the COSHH register, working with managers and staff to ensure risk assessments are completed.Conduct investigations into safety incidents and monitoring safety performance ...
