A globally recognised manufacturing business are looking for someone to join the EHS team on their manufacturing site in Gloucestershire.
You’ll join an established operation who distribute products across the world for a business which has a rich heritage and a strong commitment to investing in their people and operations, focusing on innovative ways to grow.
With recent and current transformation projects happening across the operation, you’ll take the lead in proactive EHS inspections, audits and Gembas, through to investigations in to accidents & incidents on site.
You’ll work closely with the EHS Manager and the wider team to ensure compliance across the business, rolling out safe processes, training and development as well as the continuous improvement of existing policies.
You will also be involved with the sustainability and environmental reporting across the operation, related to EHS.
What you’ll need
Experience in a high volume FMCG manufacturing environment is an essential requirement for this role, preferably in an operation of >
400 people.
Qualifications and certifications are also very beneficial, including;
- Level 4 OHS
- IEMA certificate in Environmental Management a benefit but not essential
- NEBOSH qualified, however if you are interested in a permanent opportunity there will be an option for the business to put you through NEBOSH certification.
