Drama Teacher – Maternity cover (Kendal)
Start date : May 2025
Are you a passionate and creative Drama Teacher with a flair for performance and a drive to inspire young minds? Secondary schools in Kendal, Cumbria are seeking a qualified teacher to deliver engaging Drama lessons and contribute to a vibrant performing arts curriculum.
Location : Kendal, Cumbria
Working Hours : School hours (typically 08 : 30 – 15 : 30)
Pay : Starting at £180 / day , with potential to rise depending on experience and position on the pay scale
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration through performance-based learning
- Prepare students for assessments and school productions
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the arts provision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
