Job description
We are working with our client who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team in the fabrication industry. This is a centrally positioned role dealing with fabrications for multiple industries from cradle to grave. Experience working within a fabrication company is advantageous.The role involves :
- Managing client relationships to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translating client requirements into actionable plans.
- Conducting on-site visits to measure and assess project specifications accurately.
- Coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure precision in project details.
- Creating and reviewing technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Collaborating with engineers and fabricators to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.
- Developing and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while addressing challenges to keep projects on track.The Person :
- A proven track record in project management within the fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other design software.
- A degree or certification in engineering, project management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Knowledge of materials and fabrication processes (an added advantage).Our client offers :
