Job Title : HR AdvisorLocation : Hybrid (with travel to sites as needed)Reports to : People ManagerType : Permanent, Part TimeAbout the RoleOur client is looking for a HR Advisor to join their well established team. This is a pivotal role supporting the success of their people practices. As an HR Advisor, you'll lead and support a wide range of HR functions across the entire employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance, and training. You’ll be a trusted advisor for managers and staff, ensuring consistent and values-led HR support.Who You’ll Work WithYou’ll collaborate closely with : Senior Managers and the Operations TeamFinance, Governance, and staff across all locationsExternally, you'll liaise with : HR consultants, training providers, contractorsLocal authorities and other relevant stakeholdersKey Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
- Manage monthly payroll preparation and ensure accurate data is submitted
- Maintain and update HR systems and records
- Support training needs analysis, coordination and delivery
- Advise on employee relations matters, supporting managers through the process
- Monitor and update HR policies, keeping them aligned with current legislation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and internal communications
- Work with managers on contractual changes, ensuring all documentation and payroll updates are in place
- Support and, where appropriate, lead on HR initiatives and projects aligned with the annual operating plan
- Manage HR reporting, including turnover, absence, retention and engagement metrics
- Organise internal HR events including staff conferences, internships, and career fairs
- Assist with internal health & safety coordination
