VGC Group are seeking 5 x Metering Operatives to start ASAP on the South West Water Framework, based out of the Redruth Depot.Duration : Runs into 2026Hours : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30am to 5pm with 30 minute breaksRates : £12.60 Paye or £16.67 PAYE UmbrellaAs a Metering Operative, you'll be working within the South West Water team, supporting them in working on schemes including mains repairs, new connections, and metering, all within a team that values comradery and collaboration, whilst maintaining high standards of health and safety. PPE will be provided.Your tasks will include : Exchange water meters, replacing old with new.Ensure levels of productivity working within timescales and to targets such as 30 jobs per day.Ensure that all relevant documentation is updated on each job using a tablet.Usign meter keys and basic hand tools.Recording meter readings accurately, inputting them correctly to ensure correct payments for SWW customers.You will also be part of a rapid response team that works around the clock to deliver and restore clean waterRole Requirements : - Full UK Driving License- Training to obtain EUSR provided if requiredTO APPLY :  please apply online, or email your cv to  with the subject 'SWW Metering
