Competent time served TIG welder of mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium
Able to read welding & fabrication drawings
Knowledge of marking out, sawing, drilling, shearing, & fettling
Ensure that safe working practices are adopted
Any other reasonable request by a manager or DirectorEssential Skills & Experience for a TIG welder fabricator
Experience in MIG welding
Experience in TIG welding
Experience in metal fabrication
Experience in programming Robotic welding cells (not essential)
Experience in laser welding (not essential)
Able to work from engineering drawings
Good organizational skills
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure
Self – motivated individual
Possess excellent attention to detailBenefits for a TIG welder fabricator
20 days of annual leave (+Bank holidays & Christmas holidays)
Pension Scheme
38.5working hours : 07.30 – 16.30 (Monday to Thursday) & 07.30 – 12.00 (Friday), 30min lunchbreak & 2 x 15 min tea breaks
Overtime @ x 1.5 hourly rate
Salary £15.00 to £18.00
