Role : People Diversity Inclusion & Belonging ManagerLocation : Central LondonSalary : Up to £45kType : PermanentDays / Hours : Hybrid - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs per week (2 days WFH)The Role : Our client host one of the UK’s most exciting creative communities, and are looking for a people-focused HR Generalist who brings strong D&I awareness, a practical mindset, and a passion for building inclusive systems that support everyone to thrive. This role will transition from the initial diagnostic phase to actively implementing and executing the DI&I roadmap. You will support the People team with general HR responsibilities and lead initiatives that advance equity, inclusion, and belonging across the organisation, contributing to the People Plan and the organisation's OKRs. The ideal candidate will use data-driven insights to inform strategy, measure impact, and help deliver engaging training programs that empower employees to create a more inclusive environment.Responsibilities : Strategic Implementation & Delivery :
- Transition from the diagnostic phase to lead the implementation of the agreed DI&I roadmap, ensuring strategic goals are met.
- Develop, implement, and manage D&I initiatives that enhance engagement, belonging, and psychological safety externally and internally
- Support the Head of People to integrate D&I best practices into policies and processes, contributing directly to delivering the People Plan and the organisation's OKRs.
- Lead key initiatives to support a culture of learning and development, which includes taking ownership and maximising the use and results of the client’s learning system, and devising competency frameworks. Tailor training to address specific audiences, from individual contributors to senior leaders.
- Deliver, evaluate and support the design of D&I training programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and facilitated discussions.Culture and Engagement :
- Support the development of focus groups, ensuring they are aligned with our client’s DEI strategy.
- Provide guidance and resources to leaders, helping them drive engagement and impact. Identify and address any areas of concern or conflict related to inclusion and diversity within the organisation.
- Establish a framework for our client’s DI&B values, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of the organisation.
- Execute, analyse and present findings on employee surveys, and create next stage action plans based on those findings
- Support the Head of People in driving initiatives to improve wellbeing, employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Promote our client’s development tool to ensure continuous support and communication leading into team and individual competency frameworks
- Facilitate the resolution of employee relations, ensuring alignment with organisations policies and fostering a supportive workplace environment
- Deliver the full employee lifecycle across hiring, onboarding, pay, and performanceData Analytics & Reporting :
- Analyse D&I-related data to track progress, measure impact, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reports for leadership, highlighting key D&I metrics and trends.Skills and Experience :
- Proven experience in Diversity and Inclusion, strong HR generalist – Ideally Level 5 CIPD
- Experience as a Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Lead - working with focus groups employee engagement initiatives, or D&I campaigns.
- Strong influencing skills with experience in engaging with varied and senior stakeholders, both internal and external
- Highly organised and responsive and able to work autonomously to tight deadlines
- Knowledgeable and informed about the latest developments in DI&B practices and frameworks
- Proven experience working as an HR generalist
- A clear understanding of the broad DE&I agenda within the creative sector and its impact on the workforce, workplace, visitors and community and an ability to promote this to others
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at different organisational levels (including executive level) to raise awareness and educate as well as securing buy in and commitment to undertake actions
- Empathetic and able to build trust and rapport with diverse groups
- Ability to build relationships to achieve required outcomes and make recommendations
- Curious and proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Effective engagement and presentation skills
- Strong Project Management skills
