Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in a specialist SEN school in Ystrad Mynach. This school supports pupils aged 3 to 19 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down’s syndrome, and cerebral palsy.About the Role : Provide tailored 1 : 1 and small group support to students with SENAssist teachers in delivering engaging, sensory-based, and structured lessonsSupport pupils with their communication, social, and emotional developmentHelp students with personal care needs (if required)Work closely with therapists, teachers, and families to create a nurturing learning environmentWhat We’re Looking For :
- Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to learning support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
