Mechanical Tester

ain responsibilities will be the mechanical testing and quality checks of large generator sets. Experience of working in an industrial / manufacturing or automotive environment would be advantageous, assembling mechanical components.

Candidates should therefore be well-trained and a qualified, preferably with experience in a modern manufacturing or automotive environment. A safety conscious attitude, able to work under own initiative and having a flexible approach, are also essential requirements for this position.Key Responsibilities : 1.

Work as part of a team with electrical test counterparts ensuring all quality and inspection checks are carried out to a high standard.2.

Ensure all plant and electrical equipment is maintained to minimum legal standard).3.Ensure health and safety procedures are maintained at all times

Approach to Job : The job holder will be energetic, team oriented, approachable, flexible, hands-on, be a self-starter with a natural ability to motivate others in achieving set objectives. The working environment is manufacturing and plant based to facilitate a strong communication link between all departments. Visibility and support with production on the factory floor will be required.Experience & Education
