Overview :

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated private client solicitor to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years PQE and the ability to deliver a comprehensive range of private client services.

Responsibilities :

• Will Drafting : Provide expert advice and drafting services for clients, ensuring their wishes are accurately and effectively documented.
• Probate and Estate Administration : Manage the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration, and ensuring smooth estate settlement.
• Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts : Advise clients on inheritance tax matters, helping to develop effective strategies to minimise liabilities and manage trusts.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Work : Assist clients in setting up lasting powers of attorney and handle matters related to the Court of Protection.
• Contentious Probate : Although not essential, experience in contentious probate is desirable. Candidates should be capable of managing disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing a high level of service and tailored advice.
• Team Collaboration : Work independently while also contributing to and learning from the private client team.
