Learning Support Assistant | SEN Support | Long Term / Permanent | East LondonWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a committed and supportive team at a primary school based in East London. The successful candidate will work across the early years and key stage 1 classes to support children who have additional learning needs, as well as acting as a general Teaching Assistant within the classroom.Job Role : Learning Support Assistant (LSA)Start Date : April 2025Location : E13, East London - Primary SchoolContract : Full TimeRate : £85 - £105 per dayWhat will your responsibilities be?- To provide 1 : 1 and small group support to children within the classroom- Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff, meeting the children's specific needs- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting independence and social integration- Monitor and record certain children's progress, communicating effectively with the SENCO and other relevant professionalsWhat do you need for this role?- Experience working in a SEND focused position within a school or care setting.- An understanding of the specific challenges faced by children with complex needs and a commitment to inclusive education.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the child, parents, teaching staff, and external professionals.- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting the unique learning journey of the child.At Bond each candidate will have their own designated Account Manager who has strong working relationships with schools in your area and will be there to support you throughout your career.If you are available for work immediately please apply now.
