Support Workers Wanted at a Thriving Educational Centre Near Guildford
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people and adults with disabilities?
Whether you have experience in care, teaching, or simply a desire to work with individuals on the autism spectrum, we invite you to start a rewarding career as a Support Worker.
Position : Support Worker ...
Location : Adult Day Centre
Salary : £25,000 per annum FTE, plus a £500 welcome bonus
Hours : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm (Part-time options : 3 or 4 full days per week)
Annual Leave : 23 days paid holiday, plus bank holidays
About the Role :
Become part of a compassionate team at this adult day centre, where you'll support autistic learners aged 18 and up. As a Support Worker, your role will involve :
- Working one-on-one and in small groups to foster skills and knowledge that enhance learners' well-being, independence, and social participation.
- Implementing behaviour-based teaching strategies and interventions to encourage positive outcomes and growth.
- Helping learners apply their skills in practical settings, both within the Centre for Lifelong Learning and in the wider community.
