SEND Teaching Assistant | |Paid Trial Days | South East London | February 2025Role : SEND Teaching AssistantStart : February 2025Location : Greenwich, South East LondonContract : Full timeRate : £90-£100 per daySetting : SEN SecondaryRemedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant who is willing to support key stage 3 & 4 pupils who have various SEND.To undertake this amazing SEND Teaching Assistant role, you will be dealing with challenging behaviour and using various reinforcement strategies to provide support pupils within a Secondary school environment. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a year 3 child who is diagnosed with ADHD you will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.The ideal candidate : Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.Requirements : Previous child-based experience : A proven track record of working with children in an educational or supportive capacity.An understanding of basic SEND principalitiesDBS on the update service : A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.Passion for education : A genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the educational development and well-being of young individuals.Benefits : Potential to go PermanentWork amongst a growing teamReferral scheme (£100 Per referral)If you think this is the right opportunity for you then please contact Anelka Campbell using the details provided
