As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories :

  • Business Development – Leading / contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

You have :

A deep knowledge of supply chain planning processes from one or more of the following areas :

  • Demand forecasting and planning
  • Supply planning (supply network planning, production planning, distribution planning, materials planning)
  • Inventory planning and policy setting
  • Sales planning (trade marketing planning, promotional planning)
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Work experience in Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Retail, Automotive or other product-based industry (e.g. Life Sciences) in a planning role – or – seasoned consultant advising clients on how to improve their planning processes

Consultancy experience – currently or previously working in a major Consulting firm; or having ‘internal consulting’ experience in industry.

Experience in assessment, design, implementation, or operational use of planning systems (e.g. Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9 etc).

A history of delivery in supply chain improvement and projects, as well as delivering creative but realistic solutions to client problems.

An active, well-informed, knowledge of the Consumer Product, Retail, Manufacturing or Automotive sectors and an opinion on key trends, as well as a history of rapid career progression.

Knowledge of how technology can be applied to deliver business value in the supply chain and the technology development lifecycle from design to implementation with supporting change management.

Experience in consultancy methods and approaches, learned through either working for a consulting organisation or via project implementation with a Retailer, global CP organisation, Manufacturing, Automotive or Life Sciences industry.

Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.

Experience of proposition building and delivery.

What You'll Love About Working Here

Aligning strategic priorities with pragmatic action has never been more challenging. The key to success lies in compound thinking, an approach that integrates digital transformation, physical engineering, and sustainability. This mindset allows businesses to unlock sustainable value and drive innovation by designing intelligent, efficient and adaptive systems.

Intelligent industry creates a whole new world of opportunity – and this is why we believe…

the future of industry is INTELLIGENT

We believe that what we produce – and how we produce it – shapes the future. That’s why we’re committed to helping clients devise, design and deliver their vision for Intelligent Industry, accelerating paths to tangible outcomes.

Our unique approach to integrated solutions makes us a trusted partner in re-engineering supply chains for higher performance, resource efficiency and net zero success. By modernising and transforming IT ecosystems, we help drive both sustainability and profitability.

Intelligent Industry is made up of five capability teams :

  • Supply Chain
  • Smart Plant
  • Intelligent Process and Performance
  • Connected Products and Services
  • Digital Engineering
  • Together, we build agile, future proof operations powered by intelligent infrastructure and optimised processes. Our mission is to help clients maximise what they have today, so they can lead the industry of tomorrow.

    Need To Know

At Capgemini we don’t just believe in inclusion, we actively go out to making it a working reality. Driven by our core values and Inclusive Futures for All campaign, we build environments where you can bring you whole self to work.

We aim to build an environment where employees can enjoy a positive work-life balance. We embed hybrid working in all that we do and make flexible working arrangements the day-to-day reality for our people. All UK employees are eligible to request flexible working arrangements.

Employee wellbeing is vitally important to us as an organisation. We see a healthy and happy workforce a critical component for us to achieve our organisational ambitions. To help support wellbeing we have trained ‘Mental Health Champions’ across each of our business areas. We have also invested in wellbeing apps such as Thrive and Peppy.

We’re also focused on using tech to have a positive social impact. So, we’re working to reduce our own carbon footprint and improve everyone’s access to a digital world. It’s something we’re really serious about. In fact, we were even named as one of the world’s most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute for the 10th year. When you join Capgemini, you’ll join a team that does the right thing.
