Job descriptionMileage - 45p per mile for drivers / 20p per mile for cyclists Bonus schemes : up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher. Early Shifts : 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm Late shift : 3 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm (finish time depends on public transport times) Alternate full weekends. Evenings as agreed within your working hours. Fully funded DBS. Paid induction training : 1 week classroom-based (Monday - Friday), 2 days shadowing and additional online modules. Training development : funded Level 2 and other accredited courses. Holiday pay : annual leave accumulates with working hours and length of service. We are recruiting a minimum of 4 full-time or 8 part-time Community Care Assistant to provide care and support to people living in the areas of Newcastle which includes; Fawdon, Gosforth, Kenton, Heaton, North Jesmond and Dinnington (NE2, NE3, NE7, NE13).
If you are the kind of person that can make people smile while visiting them in their home, then a Care Assistant with Be Caring could be the right fit for you. You do not need a degree or care qualifications to be a Care Assistant, but you will need the right values. Each day is varied, and you will need to have a can-do attitude.
Job Purpose
Connecting our customers to community activities; providing care and support that promotes going above and beyond. You will be integral to enabling customers to access local community groups, activities and events.
- Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.

- Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.

- Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.

Pay : £12.75 p / hr (drivers) & £12.25 p / hr walkers (paid per shifts not per call, travel time included)
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring , your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends.
