The Job
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and control the supplier approval process covering new and existing raw materials and packaging suppliers.
- Be a lead auditor in the formal auditing of our suppliers from both quality and sustainable development perspective, prioritising in line with risk assessment and evaluation, following up on improvement actions plans and providing coaching as required.
- Keep the wider Technical, Procurement and Sales teams informed of developments with suppliers and products supply chains.
- Team up with the Procurement team in identifying potential suppliers to ensure contingency plans and support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Work with the Technical team to ensure cross-functional alignment of priorities and ways of working, and documentation of processes.
- Coordinate the sustainability action plan, answer customer requests and report data in line with legal requirements and strategic priorities.
