If so, we want YOU to join our team as an SEN Tutor!Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to provide tailored intervention to pupils with Special Educational Needs in Gillingham. As an SEN Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who are not currently attending a named school provision, in alignment with their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and any other relevant supporting documentation.The role is ongoing, with the possibility of tutoring a range of students on an ongoing basis, or until a suitable full-time provision is sourced. The role provides you with the opportunity to be flexible in your working hours - part-time or full time are both considered! We receive tuition bookings for 10 to 15 hours per week and then you would liaise with parent / carer to sort the preferred learning pattern days / hours that works for both! Key Responsibilities - SEN Tutor :

• Delivering tailored one-to-one intervention sessions to students with SEN, achieving key educational and personal development targets.
• Fostering academic growth and personal development based on individual needs and goals.
• Implementing strategies and techniques to support learning and overcome challenges.
• Collaborating with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each student.
• Maintaining accurate records of progress and feedback to track student development & attendance.Qualifications and Requirements :
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational setting.
• Understanding of EHCPs and the ability to implement interventions in line with specific needs and targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
