We are looking for a Team Leader!

Heart of England Cooperative Society are looking for a Team Leader to join our growing team in our

Wellesbourne

convenience food store on a

4 month fixed-term, part-time contract for 12 hours per week.

A full UK Driving licence with no disqualifications is essential for this role in Wellesbourne, as you may be required to deliver online orders as part of our Online Snappy Grocery Delivery Service. The successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age due to minimum age restrictions around delivering alcohol. Our Online Snappy Grocery Delivery Service operates from 7am-9pm Monday to Saturday, and between 10am-4pm on Sundays so flexibility is required. When you are not out on the road, you will be working in the store assisting the team with Team Leader duties.

About You

As a Team Leader within the Society, you will step up into a position of responsibility, supporting in the running of the store and an integral part of motivating and driving the team. If you have proven yourself as a leader before and have a passion for convenience retail, this is the role for you. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure all areas of the store are taken care of, and act as a role model to the rest of the team in championing the Society's Mantra and behaviours. Our customers will be the focus of everything you do, and you will support in projects within our local communities.

Online Delivery Service

• Delivering goods to our customers in the community in a timely manner, ensuring the safe delivery of groceries
• Picking and packing products for the deliveries
• Loading and unloading the van safely and efficiently
• Represent the Heart of England Co-operative Society brand in a professional and courteous manner
• Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries and update order status
• Navigate using provided routing systems and adapt to changing road conditions
• Ensure the van is kept clean, tidy and organised
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Follow all road safety regulations and company driving policies
