Job Title : Humanities Teacher
Location : Gateshead
Pay Rate : £150 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type : Daily Supply, Long Term
Start Date : Immediate

About the Role
As a Humanities Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Social Studies. You will work closely with other staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment, helping students to develop both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and engage students in learning.
- Teach Humanities lessons to students in Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16) .
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to students’ needs, ensuring they receive the attention and support they need to succeed.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure that each student is progressing towards their goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s education and well-being.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, catering to different learning styles and preferences.
- Keep detailed records of each student’s progress, including assessments, observations, and feedback, and communicate this information to parents, support staff, and other relevant parties.
