It’s a great opportunity to join this close-knit, well-respected and successful team.Based in Garforth, East Leeds, you will already have some experience working as a Town Planner, in either a private or public sector setting - and be suitably qualified from an academic perspectiveAbout the role : The position will involve managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation; preparation of written reports and statements and submission of all planning application documentation.It will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officer’s and any / all parties involved in the planning application processes and being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.As a result, you will need to be able to take ownership of projects – some planning experience within local authority or private sector, is therefore necessary.About you :

• Experience in a Planning role of no less than 2 years
• High standards of written and verbal communication;
• Ambitious, self-motivated but also a genuine team player;
• A keen interest in the full land and planning process
• Full UK driving licence.Salary : Dependent on experience and with potential to progress
