• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with our contract growers and finishers.
• Assisting with stock movements and advising on pig selection for slaughter ensuring they meet the target weight and quality.
• Ensuring the day-to-day health of livestock is in line with RSPCA assurance standards and Company policy, advising when required.
• Communication with the production team on a regular basis to ensure smooth running of all operations.What We’re Looking For :
• Experience with handling livestock and a keen interest in the pig industry and animal welfare is essential for this role.
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must.
• The ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• You must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to exceed expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Full UK Driving licence as travel between our farm locations is required. - Scunthorpe and LincolnWe Offer :
