Blue Arrow is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join their well-established client in Fort William.
The Master Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and train other technicians.
Shifts would be Monday to Friday 8 : 30am-5pm with the occasional Saturday if overtime is available.
Rate of pay - £40k-£45k DOE.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently within a reasonable time frame.
- Perform advanced removal, replacement, and diagnostic work on various vehicle systems, including emission control, electrical, HVAC, and drivetrain systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Provide leadership and direction to other technicians, including training and mentoring.
- Assist with the daily operation of the service department, including pricing work orders, requisitioning parts, and shop organization.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements in automotive technology.
