Cover Supervisor

Location : Folkestone and Hythe, Kent

Salary : £85 - £95 per day

Start Date : Immediate

Contract Type : Temporary to Permanent

GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a reputable secondary school on a temporary to permanent basis, starting immediately. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities :

Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.

Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with the school's behaviour policies.

Provide feedback to teachers regarding student engagement and behaviour.

Support students in their learning by addressing questions and clarifying instructions.

Uphold the school's values and contribute to its inclusive ethos.

Requirements :

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role is advantageous.

Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic school environment.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
