We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong contractor background, ready to take on challenges in fast growing boutique Bristol based firm. You will be expected to hit the ground running and lead projects from the outset. Additionally, you'll have a role in mentoring and training apprentices, helping to shape the next generation of engineers.This position offers a clear and rapid path to career progression, with opportunities to advance to Associate and Director-level roles.Key Responsibilities : Lead mechanical design projects, ensuring high-quality results and on-time delivery.

Mentor and train apprentices, guiding their technical development and career progression.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex engineering solutions.

Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative design solutions.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Key Requirements : Strong contractor background with proven experience in mechanical design.

Ability to lead and deliver projects independently.

Experience in training and mentoring junior team members or apprentices.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

A proactive attitude, ready to take initiative and drive projects forward

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
